7Days Baliem Valley Trekking
DAY 01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL ( D ) Arrival at the airport of Jayapura, meeting service then transfer to Sentani Indah hotel or similar for your overnight stay and dinner. Rest of the day is free.
DAY 02 : JAYAPURA – WAMENA - KURIMA - ANJELMA (B,L,D) Breakfast at Sentani Indah Hotel, then transfer on time to the Airport for your flight to Wamena in 50 minutes. (Unnecessary baggage can be stored in Baliem Pilamo Hotel Wamena). Transfer by car to Kurima village where you will begin the trek with accompanied by your porters and cook, the starting point of the trekking to Anjelma for about 3-4 hours. Lunch en route, dinner s and overnight at local hut.
DAY 03 : ANJELMA - KILISE (B,L,D) From Anjelma trek 3-4 hours to our destination village of Kilise, Along the trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet the scenery is very beautiful around. Lunch served en route. In the afternoon you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the people way of life. Dinner and stay at local guest house of Kilise.
DAY 04 : KILISE - USEREM (B,L,D) After breakfast, you are proceed to descend the steep hill down to traditional hanging bridge across Baliem river. Today's walk is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths. But you may also enjoying the nature' s beauty. Trek will be around 3 hours. Lunch en route, dinner and overnight at teacher’s house or primary school.
DAY 05 : USEREM - KURIMA - WAMENA (B,L,D) After breakfast, walk for about 3 hours down to Kurima village then cross another hanging bridge over Baliem River. Then from Baliem river 30 minutes till the terminal of Kurima where the car ready to take you back to Wamena. Lunch served en route. After lunch continue to visit Jiwika village to see the old mummy and Traditional Etae Dance. Later afternoon return by car to Wamena . Overnight at Baliem Pilamo Hotel.
DAY 06 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D) Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Wamena airport for a flight departure to Jayapura . Upon arrival, transfer to Sentani Indah hotel then proceed with the excursion to Mc. Arthur memorial and boating to Assei village. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at Sentani Indah Hotel or similar.
DAY 07 : JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B) Breakfast at hotel and on time transfer to the airport for Depart to the next destinations
