Mahakam River 4 Days / 3 Nights
Day 01 Balikpapan – Loa Janan – Loa Deras
Direct transfer to LOA JANAN, for on board the houseboat on Mahakam River, and up stream to LOA DERAS.
Day 02 Loa Deras – Muara Muntai – Tanjung Isuy
Arrival in the morning at LOA DERAS village, visiting a brown sugar home industry and take short trekking to their field. Downstream to MUARA MUNTAI, transfer by motorized canoe to cross the vast Jempang Lake to reach TANJUNG ISUY, traditional dayak’s dance will performed at night in front of the longhouse.
Day 03 Tanjung Isuy – Muara Muntai – Tenggarong – Balikpapan
Early morning return to MUARA MUNTAI by motorized canoe (morning call at 05.15 am), transfer to houseboat and continue downstream to TENGGARONG. Arrive in the afternoon and direct transfer to BALIKPAPAN.
Day 04 Hotel – Airport
After breakfast, free program until departure to airport for onward flight

After breakfast, free program until departure to airport for onward flight

Day 01 Balikpapan – Loa Janan – Muara Muntai
Land transfer from BALIKPAPAN to LOA JANAN. On board to houseboat, for up stream Mahakam river to MUARA MUNTAI. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.
Day 02 Muara Muntai – Mancong – Muara Muntai – Sebulu
Early morning arrive in MUARA MUNTAI. Transfer by motorized canoe to cross the vast Jempang Lake and small river on the way to MANCONG (will combine with land transport via TANJUNG ISUY, if the water level not permitted). Upon arrival experience the welcome ceremony and visit the grand traditional Long House of BENUAQ DAYAK’s Tribe. Afterwards return to MUARA MUNTAI and downstream to SEBULU. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.
Day 03 Sebulu – Tenggarong – Balikpapan
Morning arrival at SEBULU a traditional boat maker village, after short visited will continue downstream to TENGGARONG and visit the Mulawarman Museum. Direct transfer to BALIKPAPAN, afterwards. Accommodation at hotel (dinner is personal account).
Day 04 Hotel – Airport
After breakfast, free program until departure to airport for onward flight.
Mahakam River TERING PACKAGE (6 Days / 5 nights)
Day 01 Balikpapan – Loa Janan – Muara Muntai
Transfer to LOA JANAN. Boarding on houseboat, immediately cruise up Mahakam River to MUARA MUNTAI. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.
Day 02 Muara Muntai – Mancong – Muara Muntai – Melak
Arrival MUARA MUNTAI. Then transfer by motorized canoe to across the vast Jempang Lake for MANCONG by entering a small Ohong river to observe the nature forest (will combine with land transport via TANJUNG ISUY, If the water level not permitted). Once arrive, a welcome ceremony and traditional dances will be held. In the afternoon return to MUARA MUNTAI. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.
Day 03 Melak – Kersik Luwai – Eheng – Melak – Tering
Early morning arrive in MELAK. A half day excursion by car to KERSIK LUWAI – the nature forest of black orchid (blooming time seasonal), proceed to EHENG to see the traditional TUNJUNG DAYAK’s Long House. Return to the houseboat and cruise up to TERING. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.
Day 04 Tering – Dayak Bahau Tribe – Tenggarong
Arrive in TERING, visiting BAHAU DAYAK tribe. Sightseeing the village, and see the Hudoq dance performance – a ritual dance asking for rain and good harvest. Return to houseboat, and downstream to TENGGARONG. Accommodation and meals provided on boat.
Day 05 Tenggarong – Balikpapan
Afternoon arrive in TENGGARONG, direct transfer to BALIKPAPAN. Accommodation at hotel (dinner is personal account).
Day 06 Hotel – Airport
After breakfast, free program until departure to airport for onward flight.

Day.01 : Balikpapan Arrival
Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport, meeting service and transfer by car to check in at Hotel in Balikpapan, evening free leisure
Day.01 : Berau - Derawan Island
Upon arrival at Berau, meeting service and transfer to harbour to boarding a boat and cross the Sulawesi Sea to derawan Island. Check in at losmen or Derawan resort. Lunch will be provided in the local restaurant or resort, afternoon possibility for snorkeling or Derawn village sight seeing
Day 02 - 03: Derawan Island – Sangalaki - Kakaban Islands
early morning you will transfer by fisherman's boat to Sangalaki island which is called The Capital of The Mantas Rays, many kind of exotics fish could be seen in this area like the Mantas, Napoleons, Purple sea horses, tunitates, dwarf scorpion fishes, and not to forget the Coral Sea Garden which is still in tact. At night time we could explore the turtle bay. Overnight at Cambu losmen or Derawn Resort, meals provided on the way.
Day.04 : Derawan island – Berau - balikpapan
After breakfast start our trip cross the sea by simple fisherman's boat to Berau for the return flight to Balikpapan for your next destination.
